Cream eyeshadows are my shadow primers for the meantime
I haven’t had time (and money~!) to shop around for great primers.
So since I started make-up, I’ve been using
Careline’s
Glamour Eyes. It’s an eyeshadow
stick. It’s a cheap primer and it’s good enough (well, for my
skin type).
These are “Seduction” (top-purple) and “Black Pearl” (bottom-black) by
Careline Cosmetics:

One thing to consider with shadow primers is if your skin is oily or not. I’m more on the dry side so the Glamour Eyes work well enough for me.
The first cream eyeshadow stick that I bought is from Penshoppe. It looks purple/blue when you look at it but when applied, it’s kind of silvery blue because of all the
shimmer. It’s a
great primer as well and cheap too.
It’s called “Moon
Shine” and I don’t think they sell this anymore. I’ll check next time and see if they have new ones.

The next one: I bought it recently and I haven’t played around with it yet. It’s a nice blue color. Yes, I like blue eyesticks. It’s just that with any dark (so blue, black, violet, etc) cream shadows, when I top with eyeshadow
powder, the colors look more as they are in their containers and they’re really pretty. I can’t do swatches for the moment coz it’s night and lighting’s bad.
Sorry for veering away from my introduction to this product. It’s also a cream eye stick but it’s thinner. It’s by Fashion 21 and it’s called “
Lagoon”. It’s cheap!
I have kind of a sensitive skin and there’s this belief that if you use cheap products, your skin will react to it (in a bad way). NOT very TRUE! You just have to match up the products with your skin so I guess you just have to test it and if it doesn’t work, then try something else.

On the left, Fashion 21 (Lagoon) and right, Penshoppe (Moon Shine)… pretty eh?
The one on the left it kind of pointed and really slim so it works well as an eyeliner too. The one on the right is easy to apply on the eyelids because of its shape.

These are not so expensive (each product is less than a 100php) so why not try it out and if these products won’t work for you, I guess you have to hunt some more.
These are great for starter make-up kits!
